To my knowledge, in standard Sugar reports, you can’t automatically limit related records (such as Contacts) to one per Account.

One option is to create a Primary Contact field in the Account record view layout and then filter by that field. This should result in only one Contact per Account (assuming the data is clean). You could also try enabling Show Distinct Results, but this removes duplicate Accounts, not Contacts, and you may lose visibility into which Contact is shown.

When creating a report for a list of accounts with related contacts, can you print report to show only the main contact or your favorite contact? I want to list only one contact per account. Is this possible?

We are facing a scheduled report issue according to Sugar Support caused by the filter in that report. Stating in the filter that the Creation Date is 'Anything' seems to be enough to 'break' the schedule and have it deactivated by the system. Changing it to a 'real' after-date , didn't help. Investigation by Sugar Support is ongoing.

How can you have stage 2 and 3 open for activity before stage 1 is finished?
We have a smart guide with 5 stages, stage 2 or 3 will be deleted, then the next stage will not allow us to perform any activities since they are displaying 'Preview' instead of the drop down actions.

We don't have any dependencies set up, but it looks like the previous stage always has to be finished before the following stage is accessible.

Any suggestions to how we can solve this, or what we are doing wrong?

Hi!

I have just taken the course. There is a bug in the QUIZ section of lesson 2.

Even though I have answered it correctly, the quiz is always wrong (even after retaking several times), and I'm unable to complete the course because of that.

I tried to port the issue from the course page itself. Nonetheless, I didn't find any option to do so.

I still remember listening to this back in 2022 on my way by train to my fairly new job working with SugarCRM in the customer success team.
It helped me answer the 'Why' question in my role at the time.
