Sugar Enterprise 26.1 is Now Available

SugarAI is excited to announce the release of Sugar Enterprise 26.1 for on-site customers.

This update highlights some of the key updates in this release of Sugar Enterprise. Visit the May 2026 page in Release Central to find everything to prepare for updates across the Sugar platform, including new blogs and updates, events, videos, release announcements, documentation, and more.

This release coincides with the 26.1 releases of Sugar Sell and Sugar Serve for instances hosted in Sugar Cloud, and incorporates features and enhancements from the preceding Sugar Cloud release .

Sugar Enterprise Highlights

• The 26.1 release of Sugar Enterprise represents an increased focus on product quality, stability, and performance. This release is one of Sugar's largest quality-focused releases ever, addressing a significant number of customer-driven improvements, including a broad set of fixes, accessibility improvements, and additional supported platforms. 26.1 also lays important groundwork for future innovation and feature enhancements.
• Dropdown Editor has been updated and modernized to simplify and streamline the admin experience
  

• Format dropdown lists to add style and make information stand out
  

• Ability to add related records to the Record View dashlet based on the "Relate To" Flex Relate relationship
  

• View recent Opportunity record changes to quickly understand how Opportunities change over time

Upgrade Information

Sugar 26.1 will support new installations and upgrades  from 25.1.3 on all supported platforms. Customers hosting their Sugar instance on their own servers can review the installation and upgrade instructions for these releases in the Enterprise 26.1 Installation and Upgrade Guide .

If you are upgrading from a version prior to 25.1.2 and using Exchange Online, you must update your Microsoft Azure application and reauthorize the system email settings after upgrading to version 26.1.0, as SMTP Auth is no longer supported for Exchange Online.
